Choose Progress Over Easy

Our economy is built on trash...we need less trash and more refill and reuse. We need to choose progress over what is easy.

The plastics industry has been actively marketing to us about plastic recycling for the past 40 years. It’s going to take some time to undo how plastic has crept into every aspect of our lives.

The traditional take-make-dispose model we are currently stuck in is using up resources at an alarming rate, creating more waste than the waste stream can handle, and costing us more money in the long run with cleanup and health issues. Big corporations aren't taking responsibility for the end of life of their product, they are cutting corners with toxic ingredients, creating products with super short lifespans, and don't provide jobs with livable wages.

We are here to shift everything to REUSE! By refilling your containers again and again, you are part of the circular economy where "waste" becomes a resource.

Refilling is an extra step, but an oh so fun one! When you go to a refill shop, you get to smell everything, you get to talk to someone who has tested the product, and you get to choose how much or little of it you want.

Our partners take responsibility for the end of life of their products, they have created products to last longer for a little more money up front, they choose only the best and safest ingredients, and they pay their teams a livable wage. All while being good stewards of this beautiful planet!

Imagine if the big corporations did all of this.

Imagine if we lived in a world where there was less waste because we prioritized refilling and reusing what we already have and repairing what needs to be fixed instead of buying new and tossing the old...

Imagine a world where everyone had beautiful open space, not clogged with fast fashion or single-use plastic containers. This is the world we imagine every day.

Imagine a world where we recycle only because the container is at the end of its useful life.

Imagine a world where we choose progress over what is easy.

You choosing to make those simple swaps and easy shifts to refill and support companies striving to do the right thing. This is what keeps us going.

Thank you for working toward reducing your waste so that one day we can have more of a circular economy. 💕
