Embracing Sustainability: Sonoma County's Five Refill Stores

Sonoma County is one of the most amazing places we have lived! We love the rolling vineyards, small towns, miles of hiking trails, and the most awesome eco-forward community! Sonoma County is also home to 5 refill stores!

Refill stores offer a unique shopping experience, allowing locals and visitors alike to reduce waste, ditch single-use plastic, and embrace a more environmentally friendly lifestyle. With five refill stores sprinkled throughout our county, we are undeniably fortunate to have such easy access to sustainable alternatives.

Sonoma County has long been synonymous with natural beauty and a commitment to environmental stewardship. From its organic farms to its wide open public spaces, the region has continuously demonstrated a dedication to preserving the planet for future generations.

We are so excited to be able to be a part of the solution by providing a safe space to come as you are, wherever you are in your low waste journey and learn more about how you can reduce your waste and find products that have been vetted for their ingredients, quality, and the company that makes them.

By eliminating single-use packaging, refill stores significantly reduce the amount of plastic entering our landfills and oceans, helping to mitigate the environmental impact of consumerism. We all go a little further and also provide products that are safe for you, your loved ones, and our planet. We offer home goods, bath and body, skincare, laundry, dish, hand soaps and so much more!

Refill stores promote community engagement and education surrounding sustainability. They serve as gathering places for like-minded individuals to exchange ideas, share tips, and learn about new eco-friendly products and practices. Through occasional workshops, demonstrations, and community events, refill stores foster a sense of collective responsibility towards the planet, inspiring individuals to make conscious choices that benefit both themselves and the environment. In Sonoma County, we are all independently woman-owned too!
